Born in Ankara in 2007, violinist Bade Dastan began performing at an early age. She started her musical education in 2012 at Bilkent Music School, studying with Vseslava Kudinova and Muhammedjan Turdiev. In 2018, she continued her studies at the Musica Mundi School in Brussels under Leonid Kerbel. She is currently completing her Bachelors in the Curtis Institute of Music with a full scholarship and Jill and Bonovitz Fellowship, studying with Shmuel Ashkenasi.
Bade has performed in over 30 countries, appearing at prestigious venues including as Bozar Centre of Fine Arts in Brussels and collaborating with renowned orchestras including the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra, Eurasian Philharmonic Orchestra, Karşıyaka Municipality Chamber Orchestra, Musica Mundi Orchestra, İzmir State Symphony Orchestra, Flanders Festival Orchestra, and Orchestra Filarmonia de Cluj. At the age of nine, Bade Dastan became the youngest performer in İş Sanat's prestigious "Shining Stars in Milli Reasürans" series, delivering a 50-minute recital.
A laureate of numerous international competitions, Bade has won First Prize at the International Grumiaux Competition in Belgium, Grand Prize and best interpretation of the Vladiverov Piece at the Pancho Vladigerov International Competition in Bulgaria, first prize at the International Competition Young Virtuosos in Bulgaria, as well as Second Prize at the 24th Andrea Postacchini Competition (Italy).
Dastan has had the privilege of sharing stage with leading musicians such as Fazil Say and Maxim Vengerov; and the opportunity to work with professors including Boris Kuschnir, Mincho Minchev, Maxim Vengerov, Michaela Martin, Miriam Fried, Benjamin Beilman, Vadim Gluzman, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ani Schnarch, Alexander Vinnitski.
Since 2018, her musical journey has been supported by ÇEV Sanat as part of the prestigious "Young Talents Project”. Bade performs on a 1732 Niccolaus Gagliano violin, on generous loan from Florian Leonhard Fine Violins.
