Weronika Józefina Dziadek born in Poland, is one of the most promising violists of the young generation.
The artist is a graduate of Madrid's Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía. During her undergraduate studies, her leading instrument was the violin, (which she still continues playing as well) perfected under the guidance of Professor Zakhar Bron. At that time, she also attended additional classes with Professor Nobuko Imai. The world of the viola introduced by professor Imai turned out to be so fascinating that the artist received her master's degree in playing this instrument.
From an early age, she has been consistently developing her unique artistic predispositions by participating in national and international competitions, always winning top places on the podium.
The awards include, among others: 1st prize at the OFMAN International Competition of Music Interpretations in Spain and 2nd prize at the International Oscar Nedbal Viola Competition (while first was not awarded). As a prize for her outstanding personality, the artist received a violin made by the Polish violin maker Krzysztof Mróz at the Grażyna Bacewicz Violin Competition in Wrocław. Recently Weronika was Semifinalist of the Tokyo International Viola Competition in Japan.
In her solo recitals, Weronika does not forget about the classical viola repertoire, but above all she tries to present contemporary works, especially compositions written by women. In 2021, she participated in the project "Devolviendo la voz" (Spanish for "restoring the voice"), the aim of which was to promote female composers from the Renaissance era to the 21st Century.
As a soloist and chamber musician, she collaborated with world- famous artists such as Gidon Kremer, Maxim Vengerov, Miriam Fried, Ning Feng, Mauricio Fuks, Natalia Prischepenko, Günter Pichler, Oliver Willie, Tabea Zimmermann, Stefan Dohr, Nobuko Imai, Zakhar Bron, Márta Gulyás, Christoph Poppen.
The artist has extensive stage experience.
