Hikari Sahara is studying undfer Prof. Jean Marc Luisada at Êcole Normalle de Musique de Paris Artist DiplomaIIin 2023-2024. She’s in her third year of Êcole Normalle de Musique training under by Prof. Luisada. She got the Special Award when she graduated Showa Music University in 2017. She graduated Showa Graduate School of Music with a Master’s degree in 2019. Her teachers are Prof. Fumiko Eguchi and Prof. Hitoshi Kobayashi. She’s the member of The Frédéric Chopin Society of Japan from 2017 to now. This is part of the International Federation of Frédéric Chopin Societies.

She won Gold Prize, Concerto Prize and  Special Excellent Prize in Piano Concerto division at the International Chopin Piano Competition in ASIA 2021; the First Prize in Piano Concerto division at the online “Sviatoslav Richter” International Piano Competition in South Korea 2021; the First Prize and The Best Performance of a Chopin Work Award at the Chopin
Avenue International Piano Competition in China 2023; the First Prize at the 8th ISCHIA International Piano Competition in Italy 2021; Gold Prize and Best Prokofiev Performance Prize at the Excellence Piano Awards In Spain 2022; the First Prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards 2023 International Competition in New York; the First Prize and Special Prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition in Belgium 2023; the Diploma de Mérite and The Diploma at the Lyon International Piano Competition in France 2023; the Third Prize at the International Music Competition Paris 2023; the Second Prize and Silver Medal in the Professional Category at CARLES & SOFIA International Piano Competition in Spain 2021; the Second Prize in the Concerto division Master Category at the Harmonium Online Plus International Piano Competition in Armenia 2021; the Second Prize in the Piano Solo Section Senior Division at the Online G Clef International Music Competition in South Korea 2021; the Third Prize at the International Music Competition Paris 2023.

She performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras such as Poland Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamamatsu Pubulic Orchestra and Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
