Bulgarian violinist Zornitsa Ilarionova was mentored by the world renowned prof. Zakhar Bron at the prestigious Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid, as well as the prominent violinist Mario Hossen at New Bulgarian University and prof. Pavel Vernikov at Santa Cecilia Music Academy in Bergamo, Italy. She had received also the precious advises of great violinists and professors, such as Augustan Dumay, Mihaela Martin, Dora Schwarzberg, Midori and the violin legend Ivry Gitlis.
Laureate of several international competitions, such as International Competition “Rising stars” in Berlin, Manhattan International Competition in New York, Johann Sebastian Bach International Competition in Japan, Rudolf Barshai International Violin Competition in Saint Petersburg, Medici International Music Competition in London and Rudolf Kreutzer Violin Competition in Belgium. Zornitsa Ilarionova has been awarded with the prestigious award for an outstanding young violinist in the violin class of prof. Zakhar Bron at ESMRS (Madrid) during an official ceremony given personally by Her Majesty Queen Sofia. 

Zornitsa Ilarionova is the winner in two categories in the national quest “Musician of the year” in 2019 – “Ensemble of the year” together with the pianist Martina Tabakova and the prize for “Active creative work”. This makes her the first musician in the 29 years history of this quest to win two prizes in the same year. 
Recent seasons highlights had included concerts with great success at salle Gaveau in Paris and participation at France Musique emission, at the Middle East Classical Music Festival and Academy in Dubai, as soloist of Sofia Philharmonic, Philharmonic orchestra of Izmir, the symphony orchestra of Antaliya, the chamber orchestra of Bashkent in Ankara, as well as solo and chamber music recitals in different venues such as “Encuentro de Santander” in Spain, “European Music Festival “ in Sofia , Teatro di Marcello in Rome, performance at the international music festival “Mimas” in Procida, Italy (European capital of culture 2022).

In December 2022 she has made her debut at the concert hall of Santa Cecilia Conservatory.
