Marley Erickson, 2003, is the grand prize winner of numerous competitions including USA National Strings Competition, Fundacja Young Arts Competition, Philadelphia International Competition, and the Moscow International Competition. She is also a laureate of the International Louis Spohr Competition, International Ilona Fehér Competition, II Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition, and competed in the Menuhin Competition in 2016 and 2018.
Marley has performed as soloist with orchestras on both sides of the Atlantic including the Seattle Symphony, Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Liszt Ferenc Chamber Orchestra, l'Accademia d'Archi Arrigoni, Mitteleuropa Orchestra, Anima Musicae, and Seattle Festival Orchestra. She has concertized in such venues as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Benaroya Hall, Paul Hall, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, Paris, Müpa Budapest, and the Liszt Academy's Grand Hall. She is regularly invited to play at festivals such as Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival, Arsonore Festival, Festival Academy Budapest, Tiberius Chamber Music Festival, Festival Kortrijk, and Arte Amanti Festival.
Marley has commissioned and premiered numerous works for violin, and has given solo recitals and chamber music performances in Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania, England, Ireland, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and throughout the United States, and her performances have been broadcast by Österreichischer Rundfunk, North West Focus Live, and Medici TV. She recently co-founded Trio Meran, and Cantara String Quartet, based in Austria.
She has had the honor to perform under the baton of Péter Eötvös, Gábor Takács-Nagy and Adám Medveczky and collaborated with artists such as Michał Francuz, Markus Schirmer, Rohan De Silva, Nicola Eimer, Somi Kim, Jonian Ilias Kadesha, Gábor Farkás, Julian Arp, László Fenyő, Gilles Apap, and Veronika Kopjova.
In 2016, by invitation of John Adams, Marley performed the North American Premiere of Oscar Colomina i Bosch's Spigl on the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Green Umbrella Series at Walt Disney Concert Hall to critical acclaim:

Having joined the roster in 2024, she is represented by Felix Artist Management in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Marley currently studies with Boris Kuschnir at the University Music and Performing Arts Graz, having received her Bachelor's degree at the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, studying with Kristof Baráti and Barnabás Kelemen. Marley's previous teachers in Seattle, Washington, were Simon James, Hiro David, and Jan Coleman.
