Maria Clara is attending Accademia Stauffer and Accademia Chigiana under the guidance of Antonio Meneses. She’s also persuing her Bachelor degree in Lugano (Switzerland) with Asier Polo. Maria Clara has won several international competitions: in 2023 first prize at the Verão Classic Festival Award in Lisbon, in 2022 first prize at the Vienna New Year's Competition, with her debut as a soloist with the Wiener Stadt Orchester in Wien, performing Elgar Cello Concerto. In 2021 first prize at the G. Mahler Cello Competition and first prize à l'unanimité at the Cap Ferret International Competition. In 2020 first prize at the International Music Competition Paris, with debut at the Wiener Saal of Mozarteum in Salzburg, and first prize at the King's Peack International Competition. In 2019 second prize at the Antonio Vivaldi International Competition in Wien. Maria Clara gives concerts as soloist and in chamber music groups in Italian and European cities like Salzburg, Wien, Brussels, Lisbon, Rome, Siena, Turin, Bologna, Tarquinia, Vercelli, Ascoli Piceno, Verona, Lugano, Sion. She has attended masterclasses with Mischa Maisky, Steven Isserlis, Sol Gabetta, Frans Helmerson, Antonio Meneses, Asier Polo, Jérôme Pernoo, Mario Brunello, Peter Bruns.
