Born in 2001 in Poland, in a family of musicians. She started her musical education at the age of 6 wit Valentina Jakubowska (Professor at Rimski-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory), during the Zenon Brzewski International Music Masterclasses in Łańcut, Poland. In 2008 she began her regular music education in Emil Młynarski Primary Music School in Warsa studying violin with Alicja Wojakowska. After few years she turned her attention to the viola and became enchanted by the color of it’s sound. At a young age, she made numerous appearances playing withe her brother cellist and father violinist. In 2020 she graduated from the Zenon Brzewski Secondary Music School receiving for her diploma recital the highest grade. In the same year she started her bachelor degree at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin with Professor Walter Küssner and at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Katarzyna Budnik. Beginning in September 2024, she begins Master Soloist specialized program with Lawrence Power at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Over the years Julia has attended several master classes and worked with renowned musicians, including Nobuko Imai, Garth Nox, Amihai Grosz, Ettore Causa, Maxim Rysanov, Yair & Eyal Klees, Daniel Raiskin, Yuri Zhislin, Tatiana Masurenko and many others. She made her debut as a soloist in October 2022 at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic. As a chamber musician, she performs with leading musicians of her generation.
The musicality and expressiveness she presents during her performances has been regarded at international competitions such as: 1st Prize at Interuniversity Viola Competition in Poland (05.2022), Grand Prix at Stefan Kamasa Competition of Polish Viola Music Interpretation (2022), 2nd Ex Aequo Prize at the Stefan Kamasa Competition for Viola Solo (2020), Musical Personality Prize during the FESTIVAL and ACADEMY OF PIŁA (2020), 1 st Prize at the National Miniature Competition in Zamość (2020), 2nd Prize at the S. Bach String Competition in Zielona Góra (2019), 2nd Prize at the International String Instrument Competition in Elbląg (2019), 3rd Prize in the XXII Bohdan Warchal International String Instrument Competition in Dolny Kubin (2018, Slovakia), 3rd Prize at the 4th Dominik Rutkowski National Viola Competition (2018), 3rd Prize 5th National Violin Competition "Master of Children's Literature Oskar Rieding" (2011). Since November 2021 Julia is supported by PIRASTRO OFFICIAL as a EMF Pirastro Young Artist. She was also awarded by the scholarship for outstanding achievements of the Prime Minister of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland in 2019 and became a member of the "Polish Children's Fund” organization supporting Polish youth gifted in arts. As a laureate of the 6th Warsaw Chamber Music Forum she performed in NOSPR - Polish Radio Orchestra in Katowice. Julia was a member of the leading Polish youth chamber and symphony orchestra programs as Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra (2018) and Penderecki Youth Orchestra joining the tourne and performing in major concerts halls in the country and working with musicians from the Philharmonia Orchestra.
